Rashami Desai dismisses Lock Upp 2 rumours; says, ‘Any reality show comes, people take my name’

Actress Rashami Desai has put an end to rumours about her participation in the second season of Lock Upp. Addressing the speculation, the actress clarified that she is not part of the reality show and expressed frustration over being repeatedly linked to such projects.The actress said, “Let me be very honest, it is not about Lock Upp. Any reality show comes, people take my name and spread rumours. I don’t like it anymore. So, I am not doing Lock Upp, and this is my official statement.”Speaking to The Free Press Journal, Rashami shared that her current priority is managing her professional commitments while working on her own venture. The actress revealed that she is focused on building a strong foundation for her brand and assembling a dedicated team.She said, “I am currently handling professional commitments while also building a team and a strong foundation for my brand. It is a meaningful journey, one that I believe will unfold beautifully. Audiences have seen me as Tapasya, Shorvori and Rashami, but through this brand and my show, Rashmi Ke Dil Se Dil Tak, they will experience my thoughts, emotions and creative vision. This remains my primary focus right now.

I do have other plans, but I prefer not to speak about them until they materialise.”Previously, actress Mahhi Vij also denied being a part of Lock Upp through a post on social media. She said, “To all of those who are asking if I am doing Lock Upp 2. So, I am not doing Lock Upp 2. I am, in fact, going on a vacation with my daughter. And yes, I was being considered and there were talks. Maybe next year! But this year, I am going on a vacation with my cutie.”On the work front, she is currently focused on her professional commitments while also building her brand and team. She is also working on her show, Rashmi Ke Dil Se Dil Tak, and has hinted at other projects that she prefers to reveal at the right time.
