After keeping their relationship private for over seven years, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have finally exchanged their wedding vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Udaipur. Following their wedding, the newlyweds met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally invite him to their reception.

can be seen happily interacting with him. They also gifted him a shawl. The ‘Animal’ actress wore a yellow ethnic outfit. On the other hand, the ‘Kingdom’ star chose a simple all-white look. Earlier, they also met Home Minister Amit Shah to invite him to their wedding reception.

The reception will take place on March 4 in Hyderabad.

PM Modi’s warm message before the wedding

Earlier on February 24, before their marriage, PM Modi issued a statement congratulating the couple. "It is a pleasure to be invited by you to the wedding of Vijay and Rashmika to be held on 26 February 2026. Heartiest congratulations, and greetings to the Deverakonda and Mandanna families on this truly joyous and auspicious occasion,” the note read.

Taking a note out of their work, he added, "Neither Vijay, nor Rashmika is new to scripts in their films.

But this divinely scripted chapter of their real lives, filled with love and affection, will surely outshine the magic they have created on the silver screen." Later concluded it with, "My blessings and best wishes to the couple and the families on the momentous occasion."

Intimate wedding In Udaipur

The couple tied the knot at ITC Mementos in an intimate ceremony. They followed Telugu and Kodava rituals. Only close friends and family attended the wedding.Soon after the wedding, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna shared their first wedding photos. He wrote, “One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like my workouts would’ve been more fun and less of a punishment if she were doing them with me. Like I needed her - just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was.
