Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced that the State government is committed to supporting civil service aspirants, providing them with all possible assistance to achieve their goals.
Addressing an event organised by Singareni Collieries Companies Ltd (SCCL), he said the government believes in investing in human resources, polishing talented youth to benefit society. Financial assistance of ₹1 lakh each to 178 candidates who qualified for the Mains examination, has been handed over to the candidates during the event. “This is the second consecutive year we’re conducting this program to encourage and instill confidence in candidates,” Mr. Vikramarka said. He added that those shortlisted for interviews will also receive ₹1 lakh and accommodation in New Delhi.
The Deputy CM highlighted the crucial role of bureaucracy in upholding democracy and changing people’s living conditions. He cited examples of dedicated officers like S.R. Shankaran, Parthasarathy and Madhav Rao, who left a lasting impact on people’s lives.
Mr. Vikramarka emphasised that government welfare schemes can only achieve their goals if they reach the people in full, requiring sincerity and dedication from officials. He expressed confidence that the blessings of Singareni workers, who indirectly support lakhs of people, would be with the candidates on their journey to success.
Last year, 148 candidates received financial assistance, with 10 selected for Civil Services. The government aims to continue supporting aspiring civil servants, fostering a new generation of dedicated officials.
