Olympic gymnast Rebeca Andrade is enjoying a calm break in Bali, Indonesia, after winning four medals at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The 26-year-old Brazilian star shared photos and videos on Instagram, showing her relaxing by the ocean.

In one post, she wore a green bikini with a starfish necklace, standing in the clear water. She also shared clips of herself snorkeling among tropical fish and cycling along the coast in a blue bikini top and denim shorts, smiling and looking peaceful throughout her vacation.

Rebeca Andrade earned four medals, including gold in the floor competition, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, becoming one of Brazil's most accomplished gymnasts.

In April 2025, she turned up at the Laureus Sports Awards in Madrid after the Games. This year, she was supposed to go back to gymnastics, but that changed in August 2025 when she revealed she would take a longer break from competition till 2026.

Rebeca Andrade will not be participating in the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, joining other Olympians, including Simone Biles, according to Olympics.com.

Talking to Olympics.com, Rebeca Andrade said she finally decided to give herself time to rest after years of hard work. She shared, “I’m resting. It’s been very important to me. It was something I wanted for a long time, but I always put it aside because of my goals.”She also explained that she will not compete in the floor exercise anymore because it causes too much strain on her body. “I don’t want to just show up; I want to do my best,” she said honestly.By extending her break until 2026, Rebeca Andrade is missing some major events this season, but her fans understand her decision. Her peaceful days in Bali show a new side of her life, one filled with calm, joy, and self-care. Even while away from the mat, she continues to inspire millions as Brazil’s most decorated Olympic gymnast who knows the value of taking time for herself.
