NEW DELHI: The US Embassy in India on Monday issued a stern advisory to visa holders, warning them of severe consequences, including visa revocation, deportation, and future ineligibility, if they overstay beyond the authorised period of their stay in the United States."Respect the terms of your US visa and your authorized period of stay," the Embassy said in a post on X.What's at stake? "Remaining in the United States past your I-94 “Admit Until Date” can lead to severe consequences such as visa revocation, possible deportation, and ineligibility for future visas," it added.
