The rivalry that is brewing between Vijayawada Member of Parliament Kesineni Sivanath and Tiruvuru legislator K. Srinivasa Rao for quite some time erupted into a full-blown war on Thursday, as the latter accused the Parliamentarian of “taking a huge sum for fetching him ticket to contest in the Tiruvuru constituency.”
Mr. Srinivasa Rao kicked up the row by posting, what he claimed to be proof of the money paid by him to Mr. Sivanath, in his WhatsApp status, drawing flak from the MP, who dismissed the allegation as “motivated,” and said people were wise enough to understand the whole episode.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao’s sensational accusation was that he paid a few crores of rupees to Mr. Sivanath in the run-up to the 2024 elections, and stated that he would come out with more details on October 24 (Friday).

Mr. Sivanath replied that he was not a person who switches political allegiances and would by no means indulge in such despicable things as taking money from other leaders. He insisted that he was a sincere TDP leader, and basically an activist, and would not tolerate the vicious campaign being waged against him.
Palla summons both
The MP said he had spent huge sums on various service activities in Tiruvuru constituency and that people knew his commitment to helping the needy. He welcomed the lodging of a complaint with TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao, saying it was good for him as the facts would come out.
Meanwhile, Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao reportedly summoned both the leaders for a meeting at the party’s central office, near Mangalagiri, on October 24 to sort out the issue.
