Rockstar Games to launch Red Dead Redemption on December 2 on Netflix, mobile, Xbox and more

Rockstar Games is bringing back its iconic Western adventure Red Dead Redemption and its zombie-themed expansion Undead Nightmare to a wide range of platforms on December 2, 2025.

The gaming studio is introducing the game on Netflix Games, iOS, Android, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2. This is the first time that Red Dead Redemption will be available on mobile devices and the Netflix users will be able to play the game at no extra cost via the Netflix Games app. The release of the game also includes some free upgrades for the present owners of PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The free upgrade will also give seamless access to the enhanced versions of the newer hardware.

The release includes the full Undead Nightmare expansion, offering a supernatural twist on the Red Dead universe with zombie hordes, mythical creatures, and survival-based gameplay.
