On September 5, the group’s official social media account shared a photo of the remaining four members in an all-black backdrop. The words “The Journey Continues..” were written across the post, with them requesting fans to sign up to their mailing list for any and all future updates. The sudden announcement left fans elated over the matter, with many citing the occurrence as unbelievable.

Ronan Keating talks about possible band reunion among other things

During an interview at the ‘Scott Mills Breakfast Show’, the singer delved into how their latest documentary titled ‘Boyzone: No Matter What’ has done so well. Talking about the matter, the 48 year old singer shared that the success had managed to start up conversations about reunions within the band again. He added that “The reaction was unbelievable, so we’ve obviously been talking about our story for the last 30 years, and we felt like that was kind of it, that maybe that was the end of the story, and well, we’ve all been chatting over the last few weeks, and I think 2026 might be a year for Boyzone to maybe try and do something”.

He also talked about his fellow band mates in the interview, saying, “They’re really great… after the documentary, the reaction was crazy, it was unbelievable, honestly, even people that weren’t fans of Boyzone were contacting me saying, ‘I had no idea’."
