RPSC SI and PC recruitment 2025: Apply before midnight through SSO portal

RPSC SI and PC recruitment 2025: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will close the online application window for the Sub Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander Recruitment 2025 today.

Candidates can submit their applications online till 12 o’clock midnight via the official websites rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or sso.rajasthan.gov.in.The application process for this recruitment began on August 10. The commission has released a total of 1,015 vacancies for the posts of SI and Platoon Commander. The examination is tentatively scheduled to be held on April 5, 2026.Previous recruitment was cancelled due to paper leakIn 2021, RPSC conducted a recruitment drive for 859 posts of SI and Platoon Commander.

However, the recruitment was cancelled following a paper leak case. During the investigation, the Special Operations Group (SOG) arrested several individuals, including trainee SIs. Subsequently, the Rajasthan High Court ordered the cancellation of the recruitment on August 28. Although it was expected that the cancelled 859 posts would be merged into the new recruitment, these have not been included in the current recruitment process.

Eligibility criteria for RPSC SI and PC 2025Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university to be eligible for this recruitment. Final-year students are also allowed to apply, but they must possess the degree by the date of the interview.The minimum age limit for applicants is 20 years, and the maximum age is 25 years as on January 1, 2026. This year, candidates have been granted an additional 3-year relaxation in the upper age limit due to the gap since the last recruitment in 2021.
