The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the schedule for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for RPF Constable Recruitment 2025. These crucial stages of the recruitment process will be conducted from November 13 to December 6, 2025.A total of 42,143 candidates who cleared the earlier Computer-Based Test (CBT) have been shortlisted for this next phase. Candidates must pay close attention to the official guidelines, bring all necessary documents, and adhere strictly to the test instructions to ensure smooth participation. E-call letters will be issued at least two weeks prior to the exam date.

RRB RPF PET and PMT details

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for RPF Constable Recruitment 2025 are scheduled to be conducted from November 13 to December 6, 2025.

Candidates who successfully clear these tests will proceed to document verification on the same day.

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The PET evaluates candidates’ physical fitness and endurance. It includes activities such as running, long jump, and high jump, designed to test agility, strength, and stamina. Candidates should prepare rigorously and follow all safety instructions during the test.
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT): The PMT ensures candidates meet the required physical standards. It measures height, chest, and weight as per RPF norms. Only candidates fulfilling these criteria will qualify for further recruitment stages.

Candidates are advised to arrive well-prepared, maintain physical fitness in advance, and adhere strictly to the testing guidelines.

E-Call letters and candidate instructions

E-call letters will be made available at least two weeks before the scheduled exam date. These letters contain essential details such as the date, time, and venue of the tests. Candidates are advised to carefully check the e-call letter for all instructions and bring the printout to the exam center.

Failure to present the e-call letter may result in disqualification from the test. Candidates should also carry valid photo identification and any other documents mentioned in the official notification.

Document verification requirements

Candidates who successfully complete PET and PMT must undergo document verification on the same day. All original documents, along with two sets of self-attested photocopies, must be brought to the verification center. Documents include educational certificates, caste or category certificates (if applicable), and any other proofs mentioned in Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. RPF-02/2024. Verification ensures that only eligible candidates proceed further in the recruitment process.
