RRVUNL Technician Group I results released for 2163 posts at energy.rajasthan.gov.in; download here

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RRVUNL) has released the results of the online competitive preliminary examination for Technician-III (ITI) Group I posts. The results have been uploaded on the official website of the Rajasthan energy department, energy.rajasthan.gov.in, and are now available for candidates to check online.The preliminary examination was conducted for direct recruitment to 2,163 technician category posts across Rajasthan’s power corporations. Candidates who appeared for the Group I examination can view their results by logging into the portal using their enrolment number, registration number, or date of birth.Details of the preliminary examinationThe online preliminary competitive examination for Technician-III (ITI), Operator-III (ITI), and Plant Attendant-III (ITI) posts was held from November 24 to 27, 2025.

The examination took place in two shifts at various examination centres located across different districts of Rajasthan. The recruitment process covered four groups of technical posts notified under Advt. No. RVUNL/Rectt-2024/03 and Re-Advt.

No. RVUNL/Rectt-2024/06.Group I includes posts of Electrician, Power Electrician, Wireman, Lineman, and SBA. The results for Group I were released on Friday and uploaded to the respective power corporations’ websites.

Candidates were also informed about their result status through SMS alerts sent to their registered mobile numbers.Number of candidates shortlisted for main examinationAccording to official information, nearly ten times the number of advertised vacancies have been shortlisted for the main examination. A total of 22,893 candidates have qualified in Group I and are eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process.

In comparison, 360 candidates qualified in Group II, 175 in Group III, and 361 in Group IV, taking the total number of shortlisted candidates to 23,789.The results of the preliminary examinations for Groups II, III, and IV were released earlier and uploaded on January 9 and January 13, 2026.Distribution of vacancies across power corporationsOnline applications for the technician recruitment were invited in September 2025 for a total of 2,163 posts.

These vacancies included 150 in the RJRVUN, 603 in the Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam, 498 in the Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam, and 912 in the Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam.The recruitment process involves a number of technical disciplines and is conducted by various power generation and distribution companies in the state of Rajasthan.

How to check the resultThe preliminary results in the form of a scorecard for the contestants can be downloaded from the official site. The results for the Technicians, Operators, and Plant Attendants for exams held in November 2025 have been announced on January 9, 2026, and can be availed by clicking on the official site of RRVUNL.
