RSS centres are arsenals, says CPI(M) leader

Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] district secretary E.N. Suresh Babu has alleged that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) centres have become arsenals and that they should be raided.

Mr. Babu said here on Tuesday that the explosive recovered from the Vyasa Vidya Peethom school here last week were bombs. The school is run by the RSS.

Mr. Babu accused the RSS of trying to destroy peace in the region, adding that several things aimed at creating communal violence had been orchestrated.

According to him, the issue of bomb is equally important as that of the controversy surrounding Rahul Mamkootathil, MLA. “The BJP took out a march to the MLA office at night only to divert attention from the bombs,” he said.

It was on Wednesday last that an explosion took place on the premises of Vyasa Vidya Peethom school, injuring a boy and a woman. Although it was presumed to be a cracker blast, police later found that it was a crude bomb. However, police are yet to identify the persons behind the blast.
