In her statement, Apsara Vydyula said, "It is with deep sorrow that I confirm the passing of my father, Murali Krishna, on January 22, 2026 at 12:55 am in Mysuru, while he was under treatment for a prolonged illness."

Besides, she added that the moments of his death, he had been with the people in the family and with others who had been in the families. She added that the end of the body was peacefully agreed upon by the family, who had his wish from the family.

S Janaki's health status clarified
