Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Chairman Ravi Naidu slammed the leaders of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for allegedly committing multiple scams during their five-year term. He alleged that the party and its media channels were spreading false propaganda on the Kurnool bus tragedy.

Addressing the media in Tirupati on Monday, he said, “Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his family have descended to the point of politicising even such painful accidents. The YSRCP and Sakshi media are hovering like vultures over dead bodies. They are creating false stories that the bus accident was caused by a biker who drank adulterated alcohol.”

“In a programme named Satyameva Jayate on Sakshi TV channel, they are reporting lies and creating fake narratives. The investigation revealed that the biker had purchased liquor from a licensed wine shop. In the past, they have played dramas like Narasura Rakta Charitra, Pink Diamond, and Kodi Kathi episodes. It is not right to do politics without values,” Mr. Ravi Naidu alleged.

“Why is it that the YSRCP is involving in dirty politics by trying to politicise every incident? In the 2024 general elections, the party won only 11 seats because of they spread such false propaganda with an intention to gain political benefits. If this continues, they will not even get a single seat in the next elections,” he added.

The SAAP Chairman further said, “After the probe over the irregularities in the liquor scam is completed, the coalition government will take action against those involved in Aadudam Andhra scandal. The Vigilance and Enforcement wing has already finished the investigation and is about to submit their report to the government.”
