Bollywood megastar Salman Khan was spotted at Mumbai airport on Saturday morning, surrounded by bodyguards, as he left for Ladakh to resume filming his upcoming war drama 'Battle of Galwan'.

The superstar was seen rocking a cool military-style bomber jacket over a white tee, jeans and boots. The actor was seen rocking a moustache and a buzz cut.

About the film

Salman, has been busy filming the war drama that will depict the fierce clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers that took place in June 2020 along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The superstar will reportedly play the role of Colonel B Santosh Babu, the commanding officer who led the Indian troops during the confrontation.

Photos of the actor standing against the backdrop of Ladakh’s rugged mountain terrain have already surfaced online, creating a buzz among fans. Cast and crew members have also teased fans with sneak peeks from the breathtaking sets. Khan has reportedly been undergoing rigorous training to bring his character to life on the big screen. In a recent conversation with India Today, the actor admitted to the challenges of shooting in extreme conditions.

“It’s slow. I’m not feeling it yet. But I will, especially. I feel the cold water, that’s for sure. I am definitely feeling it since shooting in Ladakh,” he said.

Salman's hectic schedule

While busy keeping up with his schedule, Salman is also balancing work on his other professional commitments, like his hosting duties for 'Bigg Boss' in Mumbai. Shooting for the reality show has lead to him shuttling between sets before heading back.
