Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 leak ahead of launch

New Delhi: Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event is near, but the upcoming foldable Samsung phones have already surfaced in a major leak. New images and details provide a first look at Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8, offering a preview of what users can anticipate at the official launch.

It appears Samsung is not abandoning its signature foldable design and is making a few major enhancements, as revealed in the leaked images. Vibrantive and HDK have suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold8 will have a bigger outer screen, improving its usability when folded. Slim bezel edges and a sleeker design make the phone look more modern. Apart from that, it is said that Samsung have tweaked the hinge, making the foldable display more resistant and lessening the appearance of the crease.

One name that has garnered some surprise is the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. This might be Samsung’s first ‘Ultra’ foldable phone featuring upscale attributes above the Fold8. Samsung hasn’t officially released any details about the new device, but reports indicate that it could feature improved cameras, enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities, and flagship hardware. Both Fold models are said to utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor for Galaxy, which is known for its higher performance and better power rating.

Leaked photos also show the Galaxy Z Flip 8. The clamshell foldable should maintain the same compact size while offering enhanced cameras and a larger cover display. Samsung is also expected to add new AI-driven software tools, which will be available across all three new foldables, to boost productivity, photography, and everyday use.

Samsung has already announced that the Galaxy Unpacked will take place on July 22 in London, where the brand will officially reveal the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Flip8. Internally, the company might also roll out the Galaxy Watch9 series and other Galaxy devices alongside the new smartphones. The renders leak gives a good indication of what will be available, but only the full details on price and availability will be known at the official announcement.
