Sankashti Chaturthi November 2025: Significance
In Hinduism, Sankasthi Chaturthi is the most significant day because it is devoted to worship Lord Ganesha.
With complete trust and devotion, devotees observe fast and offer prayers to Lord Ganesha. In Margashirsha Month, Ganadhipa Sankasthi Chaturthi falls on fourth day during Krishna Paksha. Since Ganesh ji is referred to as Vighnaharta, the one who eliminates difficulties from life and he is also renowned for removing obstacles from devotees' lives.
It is believed that no auspicious events, like marriage or engagement, should take place without praying and inviting Lord Ganpati Ji.

Sankashti Chaturthi November2025: Puja Rituals
1. Take a holy bath as soon as you wake up.2. Clean your home, paying particular attention to the puja room, where you intend to set up an altar.3. Light a diya with desi ghee and install an idol of Lord Ganesha on a wooden plank.4. Devotees should adorn Lord Ganesha with janeu, mukut, yellow clothing, and a garland of yellow flowers.4. On the day of Sankashti Chaturthi, it is required to offer Lord Ganesha five laddoos or modaks and durva grass. Offering him durva grass is considered meritorious.5. Chant related vedic mantras to honor Lord Ganesha. 6. Serve him with sattvik bhog prasad, which includes fruits, dry fruits other food recommended for fast. Every bhog prasad need to be sattvik.7. Perform Ganesh ji ki aarti after reciting Sankashti vrat katha.8. Offer arghya to Moon God after finishing all the puja rituals, and then break your fast with sattvik food.
