Announced in 2021, The Line is the centerpiece of NEOM’s bold urban vision, a 170-kilometer-long, 200-meter-wide, and 500-meter-tall linear city consisting of two parallel skyscrapers stretching across the desert. Designed to be entirely zero-carbon, it will be powered by 100% renewable energy such as solar and wind. Every essential service will be within a five-minute walk, enhancing walkability and quality of life.

A high-speed, AI-powered transit system will enable residents to travel from end to end in just 20 minutes. Green spaces, including a central park and continuous green corridor, will run the entire length. The city will integrate smart mobility solutions like autonomous vehicles and drone logistics, all while maintaining compact density to preserve 95% of NEOM’s surrounding natural environment. 2. Oxagon: The Floating Industrial City

Launched in 2021, Oxagon is NEOM’s innovative industrial zone and is set to become the world’s largest floating structure.
