Mumbai: Seasoned left-arm spinner Saurabh Kumar, who was part of the India squad during last year's series against England as well as the overseas tours of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, has decided to move from Uttar Pradesh to Andhra ahead of the new domestic season.In a statement he posted on 'X' on Tuesday, "I would like to express my profound gratitude for the great journey I have had with UPCA over the past 10 years of First-Class cricket. As I move onto the new opportunities, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for UPCA for giving me the opportunities to lead and learn.""As I venture onto a new chapter of my cricketing journey with Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association, I would like to extend my acknowledgement to all who have been a part of my journey till now.
I am excited to be a part of Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association, and looking forward for this new beginning," Kumar concluded.

The 32-year-old, a prolific wicket-taker in domestic cricket, has claimed 324 wickets in 79 first-class matches at an average of 26.45, with as many as 25 five-wicket hauls, besides scoring 2374 [email protected], with two hundreds and 15 fifties. His best bowling effort is eight for 64, while his best match haul is 14 for 65. He has also taken 51 wickets in 39 List matches at 28.98 and 24 wickets in 33 T20 matches at 30.66.
