The State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the results of the 2025 Probationary Officer (PO) Mains examination, scheduled on 13 September 2025, for a total of 541 vacancies (500 regular + 41 backlog). The result was published on 6 November 2025 in the form of a PDF listing the roll numbers of candidates who qualify for the next round.Qualifying the Mains moves candidates into Phase III, which includes a psychometric test, group discussion/exercise and interview rounds. Marks from the Preliminary exam will not be considered in the final merit list.

- Click on the SBI PO Recruitment link and select Main Result 2025
- Download the PDF of shortlisted roll numbers
- Search for your roll number in the PDF and save a copy for reference

Next stages for qualifying candidates
Those who have qualified in the SBI PO Mains examination will have to go through the following stages of selection process:
- Psychometric Test: Assesses personality traits and suitability for banking roles
- Group Discussion/Exercise: Evaluates communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
- Personal Interview: Assesses knowledge, motivation, and fit for the PO role
Final selection will depend on performance in the Mains exam plus these subsequent rounds
SBI PO salary scale and benefits
The starting basic pay for SBI Probationary Officers is ₹27,620, which includes four advance increments in the scale of ₹23,700‑980/7‑30,560‑1145/2‑32,850‑1310/7‑42,020. The total estimated annual compensation, including allowances, ranges between ₹7.55 lakh and ₹12.93 lakh, depending on the posting location.
