SBI PO prelims 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the examination dates for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Preliminary Exam 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 2, 4, and 5, 2025, across designated centers in the country.

Candidates can check the detailed schedule on the bank’s official website, sbi.co.in.The SBI PO Prelims 2025 admit card is expected to be released shortly. Once released, candidates can download their hall tickets from the bank’s website by entering their registration credentials. The results of the prelims are expected to be declared in August or September.

SBI PO Prelims 2025: Exam pattern and marking scheme

The preliminary examination will be a one-hour computer-based objective test carrying a total of 100 marks. The question paper will be divided into three timed sections:

There will be no sectional cut-off, providing candidates the flexibility to score across sections.

However, a negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer will be applied in the objective test.The SBI PO 2025 recruitment drive aims to fill 541 vacancies, which include 500 regular positions and 41 backlog posts. The online registration process for the exam was held from June 24 to July 14, 2025.
