Scholarships worth ₹20 lakh distributed

Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas, judge of the Kerala High Court, distributed scholarships worth ₹20 lakh instituted by the Meenakshi Raghavan Nambiar Trust to 34 students at a function held in Kozhikode on Saturday (June 21).

Two teachers were also honoured with outstanding awards at the function. The trust has been set up by former High Court judge R. Basant and his siblings in memory of their mother. Every year, it gives scholarships to students belonging to economically weak sections of society.
