Self-enumeration process for census begins across Arunachal

Itanagar: The self-enumeration process under the house listing and housing census began across Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.CM Pema Khandu and deputy CM Chowna Mein took part in the self-enumeration process in Itanagar and Namsai, respectively.In a social media post, Khandu wrote, “Took part in the self-enumeration phase of the Houselisting and Housing Census under Census 2027, completing my own self-enumeration for the very first time through geo-tagging and digital mapping.”“I urge every household to participate actively during the self-enumeration phase and extend full cooperation to enumerators during the field visits. Ensure that your information is complete and correct”, he added.Mein completed his self-enumeration for the census at the Namsai deputy commissioner’s office. According to an official report, Mein urged citizens to cooperate with census officials and provide accurate information.Namsai MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom and Namsai Zilla Parishad chairperson Chau Sujana Namchoom also completed their self-enumeration.The self-enumeration process allows residents to provide their household details.

It is a simple and convenient process that allows individuals and families to provide their own information through official platforms.The process helps ensure accurate and timely data collection, encouraging all residents to actively participate in this phase and provide correct details about their household, housing conditions, and basic amenities.After the self-enumeration phase, the houselisting and housing census field operations will begin on May 1 and continue till May 30.
