Senior journalists Channaiah Itnalmath and Virupaksha Kavatagi mourned

Members of the Belagavi Journalists Association organised a condolence meeting for senior journalists Channaiah Itnalmath of Athani and Virupaksha Kavatagi of Chikkodi who died recently.

Association president Vilas Joshi expressed condolences over the untimely demise of both the journalists.

He said that a request will be submitted to the district administration and the district in-charge Minister seeking financial assistance for the families of the deceased journalists.

Journalists Naushad Bijapur, Raju Gavali, Srisailamatha, Ravindra Uppara, Sanjay Suryavanshi, Munna Bhagwan, Mallikarjuna Gowda, Sadashiva Sankapagol, Information Department officer Vijaya Betageri and others shared their experience of working with the two journalists.

Journalists Keshav Adi, Suresh Nerli, Chandrakanth Sugandhi, Thushara Mazukar, Imam Gudunavar, Raju Hiremath, D.V. Kammara, Arun Yellurakar, Parashuram, Sagar Chowgale, Pundalik Badigera and others were present, said a release.
