Seth Rollins returns at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026; revealed to be the mystery masked man

WWE Elimination Chamber saw one of the most shocking returns of the year, as Seth 'Freakin' Rollins appeared for the first time since October 2025 on live television. The Visionary made his presence in the final moments of the Men's Elimination Chamber match and revealed himself to be the mystery masked man that had been causing trouble for The Vision since the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE.Towards the end of the Men's Elimination Chamber, Logan Paul had eliminated Je'Von Evans, LA Knight, and Trick Williams and had gained momentum. However, a decoy masked man appeared, who was taken away by the security personnel. Just then, the real masked man entered the chamber and took down Logan Paul with a Stomp. This led Cody Rhodes to pin Paul and eliminate him from the match. Following that, he took off his mask and revealed himself to be Seth Rollins, which led to shock on Paul Heyman's face and a huge ovation from the audience.

The Visionary left from the ringside area through the crowd and changed the complexion of the road to WrestleMania 42.

Seth Rollins returned to WWE Elimination Chamber after dealing with an injury

Seth Rollins was the leader of The Vision, forming the faction with Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman after WrestleMania 41, and later added Bronson Reed. He was the World Heavyweight Champion until his match against Cody Rhodes at the 2025 WWE Crown Jewel PLE where he injured his shoulder. On the following edition of RAW, Rollins was attacked by Breakker and Reed and thrown out of the faction he led.

The angle was done to write him off television to get surgery for his injury. Rollins continued to make appearances outside WWE and never gave clarity on his return timeline.
