A sex racket operating from a hotel in Banjara Hills was busted by the Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone team, along with Banjara Hills Police. One organiser, seven customers and a hotel receptionist were apprehended, and three women were rescued, including one from Uzbekistan.

The arrested organiser was identified as Md Shareef, 36, a businessman who previously ran a salon called Style Maker Saloon in Hyderabad. Police said Shareef used to lure unemployed women with promises of high salaries and commissions, later forcing them into prostitution.

Acting on credible information, the Task Force raided R-Inn Hotel located on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, where prostitution was allegedly being conducted in rooms 111 and 112. During the operation, officers seized ₹5,950 in cash, 13 mobile phones and 12 unused condoms from the premises. Police said all seven customers detained in the raid were from Kurnool. The arrested accused, along with the rescued women and seized material, were handed over to Banjara Hills Police for further investigation and legal action.
