₹1800 Cr Land For ₹300 Cr? Ajit Pawar's Son Parth In Massive Scam Row
This special report focuses on a major controversy in Maharashtra involving Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's son, Parth Pawar, over an alleged land scam in Pune. The opposition has alleged that land reserved for Dalits, worth around ₹1,800 crore, was sold for approximately ₹300 crore to a company where Parth Pawar is a partner. In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi stated, 'This is 'land theft' by that government, which itself was formed through 'vote theft'.' The allegations include that Amadia Enterprises LLP purchased 40 acres of 'Mahar Watan' land at a fraction of its market value, and that stamp duty worth crores was also improperly waived. In response to the growing political storm, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has termed the issue 'serious' and ordered a high-level probe, leading to the suspension of a sub-registrar and tehsildar. Ajit Pawar has publicly distanced himself from the deal, stating he has no connection to it.
