Shalini Passi reacts to the sudden demise of close friend Sunjay Kapur: 'He was so enthusiastic about everything, be it business or polo'

Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur passed away on Thursday. The news of his demise came as a shock to everyone. It is being reported that he passed away due to a heart-attack while playing polo.

Shalini Passi who has been a close friend of Sunjay has now reacted to his untimely demise. She expressed her shock and also spoke about her conversations with him.She said in an interview with Hindustan Times, "The news of Sunjay’s death is sad and shocking. It makes us realise the frivolity of our life and everything that we take so seriously... In a moment everything is gone."For those not in the know, after divorce with Karisma in 2014, Sunjay got married to Priya Sachdev in 2017.

Shalini realled how she would often meet Sunjay and Priya. She said, "Sunjay’s family and our family are close friends.... I have known him and his family since I got married. He was somebody who was full of life. He was very enthusiastic about things he did, whether it was his business or playing polo.... He was somebody a lot of people looked up to as a role model.

"Shalini has been married to Sanjay Passi since the late 1990s.

She said, "I would frequently meet him and his family in Delhi. He was always with his wife (Priya) whenever I met him. My heartfelt condolences to them”.She revealed that both Sunjay and Priya congratulated her for Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives. "Sunjay and Priya congratulated me on the success of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives. They were happy to see me holding up for Delhi in the series. Both of them were delighted by it and were happy for me. And that’s what they had expressed to me”.
