As scrutiny in the Nashik TCS office case intensifies, it has come to the fore that one of the key accused, Nida Khan, is pregnant; her family confirmed on Friday.

A report released by NDTV said that Nida’s family has approached a local court in Nashik seeking anticipatory bail, with her pregnancy cited as a main reason in the application.

Meanwhile. Authorities are expected to verify her medical condition through channels as the Special Investigation Team (SIT), constituted last week to probe the matter, continues its efforts to take her into custody, NDTV reported.

Nida Khan’s Husband In Police Custody

According to Nashik SIT sources, it has also come to the fore that Nida Khan had been residing with her husband in Mumbra for the past two months.

“Prior to this, she was at Nashik, and before that, she used to live at Bhiwandi. Nashik Police have detained Nida’s husband, and he is currently being interrogated," sources said.

Police sources claim that her husband does not possess much information regarding Nida’s activities. However, the interrogation is underway.

A report by HT said that Nida’s father and uncle claimed that she was not “absconding" and has nothing to do with the controversy. Contrary to reports circulating on social media, Khan does not work in the BPO’s human resources department. She is employed as a telecaller in the sales team and is not among the senior staff, her family said.

Also the family claimed that a photograph of her labelled as the “HR Head" of the firm’s Nashik unit has gone viral on social media and is being aired by TV news channels and the image was taken from her Instagram account.
