Organised by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA), it offers participants a chance to win substantial cash prizes while promoting archery among the youth.

HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?

Shillong Teer is played in two short rounds, each lasting two minutes. In the first round, archers shoot 30 arrows, followed by 20 arrows in the second round. Participants choose a number between 0 and 99, predicting how many arrows will hit the target.

Tickets are available at authorized counters in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50. Prize money varies based on the wager and prediction accuracy, for instance, a correct first-round prediction with a Rs 1 ticket earns Rs 80, while the second round pays Rs 60. Predicting both rounds correctly can win up to Rs 4,000 with just a Rs 1 ticket.
