Many reporters asked Shohei Ohtani about his wife, Mamiko Tanaka. But Shohei Ohtani made it clear he wanted to focus only on baseball. Through his translator Ippei Mizuhara, he said, “I answered a lot of the marriage questions in the interview earlier, so I don’t really want to get into details here.” He added that it was Mamiko Tanaka’s first time attending a game like this with him and said he was excited for the memories they would create together.Shohei Ohtani also reflected on how much had changed since his last visit to Korea as a high school student. He said he was happy to return to one of his favorite countries, now as a major league player and a husband.
