At Kodaikanal, the shoot of Moi Virundhu unfolded across a printing press and a bank (a hospital converted into a bank). The villagers were gathered around in the cool weather to witness the shoot, featuring an ensemble cast including veteran actress Archana , VJ-turned-actor Rakshan , Ayesha and more…‘My character is quite similar to the real me’ Actress Ayesha tells us, “I play a bubbly and cute village girl named Revathy, who works in a printing press.
She is quite similar to the real me. Since Rakshan and I are already friends, I was excited to pair with him. I’m grateful to work with Archana ma’am. She is very dedicated. Rakshan and Ayesha’s characters fall in love in the film. Their characters are intentionally named Karthik and Revathy after the real-life actors.

Everyone in the village approaches my character, Seetha, for medical help. My getup is very different in the film.
