Shops up for rent at Gota vegetable market in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: In a move to streamline local commercial spaces, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has officially invited tenders for the rental of three shops located at the Gota vegetable market.The shops, situated opposite Dwarka Apartments in TP Scheme 32 (Gota), range in size from 8.8 to 11.9 sq m. According to the notification issued by the deputy municipal commissioner, the monthly base rent for these prime commercial units is set between Rs 8,790 and Rs 11,900. Interested bidders must submit their applications in sealed covers to the AMC’s North West Zone office in Bodakdev by June 29 before 5pm.Civic officials clarified that late submissions will be strictly rejected. A public auction for the shortlisted eligible bidders is scheduled to follow on July 2. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable form fee of Rs 500 and an earnest money deposit of Rs 25,000.
