Siddipet court imposes fines worth ₹3.34 lakh on 33 motorists for drunk driving

A Siddipet court has imposed fines totalling ₹3,34,500 on 33 motorists caught driving under the influence of alcohol, while sentencing another offender to three days’ imprisonment.

The action followed special vehicle checks conducted by Siddipet Traffic Inspector K. Praveen Kumar and his team at various locations in and around Siddipet town, during which 34 motorists were intercepted and found to be intoxicated after undergoing breathalyser tests.
