Signify launches Philips Aura Floodlight in India priced at Rs 2,499

Signify has launched the Philips Aura Floodlight in India — a new lighting product designed to serve both decorative and functional purposes. The company said the Aura Floodlight combines professional-grade illumination with festive aesthetics, offering “décor by day and lighting excellence by night.

”According to Signify, the new floodlight is aimed at India’s cultural events, temple spaces, community gatherings, and public celebrations. It provides a ready-to-install decorative solution, eliminating the need for temporary setups often used during festivals and outdoor functions.The Philips Aura Floodlight runs on 50W LED power, offering bright illumination for outdoor use. It comes in multiple designs featuring Indian festive motifs such as Swastik, Kalash, and Diya, along with a plain option for general use.Girish K. Chawla, Head of Professional Business, Signify Greater India, said the floodlight was developed keeping India’s festive lighting needs in mind. “Its border-lit design provides a uniform glow and reduces glare, making it suitable for celebrations and public spaces,” he said.The company said the Philips Aura Floodlight will be available across India from September 12, 2025, at a price of Rs 2,499. It will be offered in Cool White (6500K) and Neutral White (4000K) color temperatures.

The light has an output of 5000 lumens, supports input voltage from 120–270V AC, and includes 4KV surge protection. It also has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and IK07 impact protection, making it suitable for outdoor use. The device features a compact design with a grey body and polycarbonate diffuser and can be customized with logos for specific events.
