Renowned filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is back at the age of 94, directing the upcoming village drama film titled ‘Sing Geetham’. The film is backed by ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ director Nag Ashwin and produced under the production house that bankrolled the Prabhas starrer.

As seen in the 1-minute 22-second teaser, the story is set in a small and mysterious village. It follows a young man named Prathap. He comes to the village looking for a better life. But things are not normal there. He slowly gets pulled into strange events. He faces a fight between change and tradition. This journey tests his thoughts and his purpose.

‘Sing Geetham’ is said to be India’s first musical fantasy.

It mixes music with a magical world. The film features a young cast like Ayaan, Ahilya Bamroo, and Shalini Kondepudi. They are said to bring good energy and fun to the film. The teaser shows that the film has its fair share of tense as well as humorous moments. There are some funny incidents taking place in the village and the leads can also be seen inside a old mine, encountering some eerie moments.
