Ukrainian gymnastics wonder Regina Abramova has amazed the world once again. On October 11, 2025, the six-year-old completed 223 pull-ups with a flip on the horizontal bars in Kyiv, Ukraine.

For the most pullover repetitions on a horizontal bar by a youngster, this amazing feat qualified her for inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records. Nicole Knyazieva set the previous record, 88 pull-ups in 2017, which Abramova destroyed nearly three times.

Regina Abramova’s rise as the youngest world record holder

At only six, Regina Abramova has already broken four major records. Last year, she set a Ukrainian national record by performing 55 pull-ups with a flip at just five years old.

She also became the youngest child to climb Mount Hoverla, Ukraine’s highest peak, reaching the top in 2 hours and 29 minutes.

Another of her incredible records came when she held a straight inverted body position on gymnastic rings for 5 minutes and 52 seconds, the longest ever for a child. Her father shared that Regina trains daily with full focus and discipline. Local sports media reported that her world record attempt was verified and confirmed by the National Register of Records of Ukraine before being approved by Guinness officials.

People across social media have called her “the little powerhouse” and “a future Olympic star.”Also Read: Eddie Hearn Calls Out Dana White Over Hidden Motive Behind Ali Act Revival

Regina Abramova shares how grandmaster Dmitry Komarov inspired her

Regina Abramova showed via her Instagram post on October 15, 2025 what motivates her energy and passion. She revealed that the Ukrainian chess grandmaster and television host Dmitry Komarov is her main inspiration. She said she watches his show The World Inside Out, and one episode featuring Komarov and Vitaliy Zorin setting a new record deeply moved her. Regina wrote, “The girl without three limbs from Ecuador, who climbed Chimboraso volcano with Dmitry, became a symbol of strength for me. She inspired me to climb Hoverla on my own.” She also shared her life motto learned from Komarov, “Never give up, believe in yourself, and knock on every door even if it seems no one will open it.” The six-year-old gymnast now dreams of meeting Dmitry Komarov to personally thank him for motivating her to chase her dreams and make history.
