She shared that at 35, when she approached a gynecologist about freezing her eggs, she was told she was already considered very old, a comment that stayed with her despite others saying she was still young.
Expert perspective on fertility
The fertility expert offered a medical perspective, explaining that fertility depends on multiple factors. She highlighted the use of reliable tests like Anti-Müllerian Hormone levels and antral follicle counts early in the menstrual cycle to predict fertility, noting that the ideal age for egg freezing is between 28 and 34.
