Soma Rathod, portraying Pushpa, finds acting second nature after fifteen years, treating each day as a fresh experience.
Currently seen as Pushpa in Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Soma Rathod says that after nearly fifteen years in the industry, acting has become second nature to her. “I have been working for almost fifteen years now, and for me, it has become a daily routine.
I am used to working every day, and each day I feel like I'm going to do something new,” she shares. “This is probably why my performances feel fresh; I never approach acting as just ‘acting,’ so it never feels like ‘work’ to me. Every day feels brand new.”Long shooting hours don’t drain her energy. Instead, she keeps the atmosphere light. “I spend the entire time having fun and joking around with everyone. I believe that everyone working alongside me should enjoy themselves; it shouldn't feel like a chore.
Keeping things lighthearted with laughter and fun is the secret to the energy I maintain.”

For Soma, authenticity is key. “I don’t believe in artificial things. I never feel like I am acting because, perhaps, I never actually act. Whatever scene I’m in, I am living it at that moment. I don’t see it as acting; I feel it’s a part of my life.”She believes the audience connects deeply with the show’s rooted storytelling. “Especially the portion set in Chandni Chowk. People relate to it and feel like it's a story from their own home. We portray a middle-class family, which is common to many households. That creates a strong connection.”
