A heart-wrenching case of child abandonment has come to light from the Birgaon area of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where a young boy was found near Vyas Talab, holding a heartbreaking letter.

“I have no place to live. I am leaving the child. Someone should adopt him," it read.

Local women who found the child were stunned and promptly informed the police. The child was found in a car parked near Vyas Talab in Birgaon.

The local women then handed the child over to the police. The Child Welfare Committee has also been notified, and Khamtarai police station is investigating the matter.
