Sonam Raghuvanshi News: What began as a honeymoon in Meghalaya, ended in tragedy when Indore resident Raja Raghuvanshi was found dead in a gorge under mysterious circumstances. Days later, shocking revelations surfaced, alleging that his own wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, had orchestrated his murder with the help of hired killers.
In an exclusive conversation with CNN-News18, Vipin Raghuvanshi, the brother of murdered Indore resident Raja Raghuvanshi, disputed official claims that Raja’s wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, had voluntarily surrendered to the police.

“Sonam has not surrendered. She called us. We informed the police so they could take her into safe custody," Vipin said, adding that Sonam had been in hiding and was extremely frightened.
According to him, Sonam contacted Raja’s younger brother Govind and a family friend Sonu, expressing fear and disclosing that she was in a jungle.

“There’s a huge difference here, the other suspects were arrested from Madhya Pradesh, but Sonam was in Uttar Pradesh. We’ll believe what happened only after she confirms it herself," Vipin added.
Key Arrest in Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder Case
This development comes amid a major breakthrough in the investigation of the Meghalaya honeymoon tragedy, where Raja Raghuvanshi was found dead in a gorge. According to Meghalaya DGP I Nongrang, Raja was allegedly killed by men hired by his wife during their honeymoon trip.
The DGP told media that Sonam “surrendered at Nandganj police station in Uttar Pradesh" and was subsequently arrested. Three other suspects have also been apprehended—one from Uttar Pradesh and two from Indore—as part of overnight raids conducted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

“The arrested men have revealed that the wife had hired them to kill Raghuvanshi," said Nongrang, adding that operations are still underway in Madhya Pradesh to track down more individuals involved in the crime.
The case has taken a chilling turn as investigators piece together how a newlywed trip turned into a cold-blooded conspiracy. Further interrogation of the suspects, including Sonam, is expected to shed more light on the motive and planning behind the murder.
