Sonu Nigam stops concert midway for Azaan
In the video that has surfaced on the internet, Sonu Nigam can be seen pausing his concert to honour Azaan. The video showcased him saying, "Please give me two minutes; the Azaan is about to begin here." The audience cheered and appreciated his thoughtful gesture.Sonu then resumed his performance and continued to entertain the attendees.

The concert was hosted at the SK International Conference Centre (SKICC) near Dal Lake in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.According to a Deccan Herald report, boycott calls affected the event. Reportedly, a lot of seats were empty during the show. A resident told the publication, "There was expectation that it would be house full, but most of the chairs were empty."

Sonu Nigam dropped several back-to-back tweets condemning Azaan on loudspeakers. One of the posts read, "When will this forced religiousness end in India?”He concluded his tweets, saying, "Gundagardi hai bus."

Over the years, Sonu Nigam has delivered massive hits. His recent track that received love from the audience was 'Pardesiya' from the film 'Param Sundari', starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. The song had nostalgic vibes that would take anyone back to the 2000s. He also crooned the remixed version of his popular song 'Bijuria' for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's film 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tusli Kumari'.
