Sophie Cunningham also got fined before for speaking out. On July 30, she started a podcast called “Show Me Something.” Sophie talked openly about bad calls on the court and said she was tired of unfair treatment.The WNBA fined her $1,500 for her words. There was a $500 fine for a TikTok too, where she joked about some referees being “stupid” or “slow.” Sophie replied, “This is funny to me… like ok👍🏼 you got it, bud!”
