A South Korean navy patrol aircraft crashed on Thursday in the southeastern city of Pohang, according to local police.Rescue workers and fire trucks were dispatched to the crash site after residents reported seeing an unidentified object falling from the sky followed by an explosion, emergency officials reported AP.Pohang's Nambu police station confirmed the aircraft involved was a navy patrol aircraft. However, authorities said it was too early to confirm whether there were any casualties or injuries.
