SP inspects arrangements for Ganesh Nimajjanam in Hindupur

Superintendent of Police V. Ratna on Thursday (September 04, 2025) closely monitored the Ganesh Nimajjanam procession in Hindupur town of Sri Sathya Sai district.

The SP along with senior officials of the Hindupur sub-division inspected the arterial junctions, Nimajjanam points, and idol procession routes. She reviewed the arrangements and instructed officials to ensure that immersions were completed quickly and called for smooth traffic flow and public safety.

The SP also reviewed arrangements at Valmikinagar locality and interacted with Ganesh Utsav committee members. She urged the organisers to cooperate with the police for the safe conduct of the procession.

Later, Ms. Ratna monitored the procession from the command-and-control room through live feeds from CCTVs and drones. She also issued real-time instructions to the police personnel on duty.

Speaking to the media, the SP said that to facilitate the peaceful conduct of the processions, a strong police deployment with Deputy SPs, Circle-Inspectors, APSP, and AR forces was in place.
