Srabanti and Bibriti Chatterjee attend Mahesh Rath Utsav

Srabanti Chatterjee and Bibriti Chatterjee visited the Mahesh Rath Utsav in Serampore as part of the promotions for their upcoming film Devi Chowdhurani. Directed by Subhrajit Mitra, the film features an impressive cast including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Srabanti, Bibriti, and Darshana Banik in key roles.

The actors and the director joined devotees at the iconic festival, which is one of Bengal’s oldest and most celebrated Rath Yatras.Speaking about her experience, Bibriti said, “Going to Mahesh Rath Festival was such a surreal feeling because I have always heard of the festival and the grandeur but witnessing it and touching the idol was a different feeling.” Srabanti too soaked in the vibrant atmosphere as they interacted with locals and offered prayers. With Devi Chowdhurani, the team hopes to revive Bankim Chandra’s classic story for a new generation of cinema lovers.
