Sringeri Sharada Peetham seer to visit Vemulawada temple on October 19

Sringeri Sharada Peetham seer Vidhushekhara Bharati Swami will visit the famous Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada of Rajanna Sircilla district on October 19, 2025.

Announcing this in Vemulawada on Wednesday, Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas said all arrangements have been made for the visit of the seer to the temple.

He said that the first phase of temple expansion and development works were taken up at an estimated cost of ₹ 76 crore. The works will be executed as per the suggestions of devotees and Vedic pundits, he said, adding that LED screens will be set up on the temple premises to facilitate darshan of the temple deity. Mr Srinivas reviewed the arrangements for the ensuing visit of Sringeri seer to the temple.

Endowments Department Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer, and Rajanna Sircilla Collector M. Haritha among others were present.
