Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli shared his pride as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched a rocket named 'Bahubali' on Sunday, carrying India's heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03. The name, inspired by Rajamouli's blockbuster 'Baahubali', has made fans and the film's team very happy, as it beautifully connects Indian cinema with national pride.

SS Rajamouli applauds ISRO's achievement

Taking to social media, SS Rajamouli shared an image of the rocket's powerful liftoff. He also shared a message saluting ISRO's achievement. "Congratulations to #ISRO on the successful launch of the heaviest communication satellite CMS-03 today! A proud moment for India showcasing our technological strength and self-reliance in space exploration. Onwards and upwards!" he wrote.The 'RRR' director further shared his delight at ISRO's fond choice of name for the rocket.

"Our entire Baahubali team is elated as @ISRO fondly named this rocket 'Bahubali'.. Due to its heaviness and strength.. Truly a privilege for all of us," he added.
