'SSMB29': R Madhavan's comments on Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran's post spark buzz about his role in SS Rajamouli's next epic

The ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli is surprising fans day by day in November, revealing details regarding his upcoming project tentatively called 'GlobeTrotter' or 'SSMB29'. The film features Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The three stars from the film have been, however, fans are now urging to know if R Madhavan is set to be part of the project.

First look of Kumbha and Mandakini

Recently, SS Rajamouli and the film's lead stars unveiled the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran from the film. He is set to play the primary antagonist of the film as the sinister "Kumbha" seated on a futuristic wheelchair with four robotic arms coming out from behind. Then, after a couple of days, they shared the first look and character of Priyanka Chopra as "Mandkini". She is seen as a confident lady in saare and who knows how to handle guns.

Maddy's comments

Interestingly, R Madhavan has commented on both Prithviraj and Priyanka's Instagram posts.On Prithviraj's post, he commented, "Super Luke Brother, that is absolutely breathtaking. Can’t wait for the world to see you in this". His remark on PeeCee's picture reads, "Wowowowowoeoe Andy Brilliant…what a look and IMPACT. You’re just getting unbelievable by the day."

His comments have led fans to speculate that Maddy is likely to be part of the grand project.

Reports hint at Madhavan's role in the film

Earlier this year, in June, reports surfaced that the '3 Idiots' actor would be joining the team. According to a Money Control report, R Madhavan is expected to join the team for a significant role in this grand project.

About 'GlobeTrotter'

The movie is set to be a jungle adventure thriller, which is expected to be set in Africa. It is said to have taken inspiration from America's 'Indiana Jones' series with the added touch of Hindu mythology and SS Rajamouli magic.A massive event of the film is set to be held in Hyderabad on November 15, where the cast, director and other key members of the film will be present. They are said to unveil the title and other details of the film. The event will be digitally streamed.
