Cyprus outfit AEK Larnaca came away with a draw at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace on Friday in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League encounter.

Oliver Glasner and Co. were left frustrated by Javi Rozada’s men as the Cypriots will head into the crucial second-leg of the tie at home on an even keel.

Elsewhere, Premier League side Aston Villa came away with a win over Ligue 1 outfit Lille as Ollie Watkins’ lone strike helped Unai Emery register his 100th win as the boss of the Villans.

Watkins nodded in he ball from Emilano Buendia just after the hour mark to give the PL outfit the advantage heading into the return fixture at home.

Danish outfit Midtjylland produced a shock in the first leg clash against Nottingham Forest at the City Grounds on Friday as Gue-Sung Cho provided the telling touch on the night.

Cho, who came in as a second-half substitute, went on to give his side the win with his lone strike ten minutes from time as he got on the end of a Ousmane Diao ball in.
